Wonderful!! I *love* the piano in the hair! it reminds me of a crazy guy who produces strange picture art - I have a fish with a piano called the "piano tuna" from him. And the colours underneath the piano!! (what's this thing called in english?)
Of course when voting one should value 100%-hand-pixelled, but also a half-converted picture IS art. And this one great art...

I was under the impression that everybody knew Mirage uses reference/converts some parts of his women-images. He made Timanthes, after all?

This isn't ment as any sort of attack, I like this picture (as I did the last few) very much, regardless of the copy/conversion, since there's a lot of fine-tuning by hand after and there isn't - I supposed - any attempt to pass this off as if it's all 100% from imagination.

Personally, I'd post my references along with the art, but the demoscene is the demoscene and if there's a stone it was built upon (in the art side of things) it's that almost everybody copies, so I guess I expected it to be common knowledge in this case.

another entry for the 'art that isn't' page ? :P Disappointing

edit: well afterall mirage himself exposed the fact its copied, so thumbs up for that. But I'm sad to learn that.

@HCL: you're right... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/lars.verhoeff/benniapnea.jpg

Not what you were expecting though, was it? ;)

And excuse me for shamefully using a photograph which i think looks great and adding some personal touches to fit the theme

Somehow the girl is giving me Jenna Jameson vibes. Might just be me having a dirty mind though! :)

HCL: maybe she had your anatomy in her mouth? Hehehe... 8-bit fantasies

Nah, again she's totally over-pimped with purple mascara and a piano in her head. The rest is very nice tho.

Hmm, somehow it looks as if she was taken from another situation, having *something else* in her mouth. Or am i just halucinating right now?

Well, you kept your promise! Didn't have to wait too long for your next masterpiece. I'm in awe as always. Wow!!!! There seems to be a pure simplicity to the way you pixel, delivered with a great deal of finesse. The true mark of a professional.

Like the creative use of the keyboard as a nurses headpiece. I guess the dutch just do it better and with more style... :)
