However the swedish word "avslöja" and the english word "reveil" are quite fun in this context since both "slöja" and "veil" are the name of the cloth commonly worn by islamic women to conceal their hair. ;D To re-veil or to av-slöja, means to remove the veil/slöja. |

Deekay, I've never seen a modular origami model for this polyhedron, but here are instructions for making one out of paper: http://www.korthalsaltes.com/compound_of_five_cubes.htm
And Sander/Frantic, I think you're correct. "Islamic tiling" is the first thing that occurred to me when I looked at the background, too. I'm certain that it's not a net of the polyhedron. |

It's certainly not Sonobe-based, so yes, Fatfrost, I would very much like the instructions on how to make it, because I can only do Sonobe (but large varieties thereof atleast! 8)
I really like the background - please do notice how the 3d-object was "torn" out of the green area (which should be dithered), into which its outlines just fit nicely... |
