ok it was a bit confusing, you have to insert the megademo_II.d64 AFTER pressing space on the last slideshow on the side 2, while the loader is stuck at counter 000. else the slideshow just crashes, obviously, because it's loading the screens from megademo 1 side 2.
No idea why a earlier demo should expect a disk from a later demo btw =)

I did and now did it again. Very confusing.

Would have helped if someone below added a link to Megablast II since I though Steppe was referring to the second disk.

Seems like 2nd side is broken at some point. It tries to load another part where it endless loops during loading.

Can someone upload a working version?

@A3: Could have been ALF - it's not stated in his profile but iirc he's been a TAT member and attending HZ'91

I've always loved the huge DYCP part - added an animated gif to capture some of the action!

Very nice oldschooler, really!
By the way, what seem to be a crash after the second part of side 2 really isn't one. Talking about the graphic part with the "'91" in it. When this one is running, just insert the Megablast II disk and hit space and the demo will continue.

For some reason this demo has always had a special place in my heart, since it was shown to me by an untill today unknown The Ancient Temple member at the Horizon party 91. I especially like the 3x5 dycp in the part "All Liquid". Sadly this version crashes in both vice and ccs64 on disk side 2. Does someone have a working version?
