Yeah the problem with the tail is the wrong axis of shading! But that's all :)

wile coyote >> your two points contradict a bit ;) you say that there's no depth but simultaneously you say that that daytime light is combined with dusk one. you perfectly know there's a type of perspective presentation in painting based on colours and their optical properties - epecially that warm colours tend to go forward, cold ones the other way ;) i see here fox in warm red and cold background. i agree on flat tail, though. it is shaded in the wrong axis ;) besides, trunk lying over the river sets the depth nicely ;)

D64 has Exe and Workstages.. Feedback I got through Email: The
fox is missing his underjaw, does normally have a more pointed nose,
and aswell his nose not ontop.. Someone else said the tail just
doesn't fit, but to me it does, it just waves aside his body..
