Normally I'd say this is wayyy too good to be converted, looks like many an evening of pixelling all that black... and white
... but IIRC whacko color dithering happened frequently as artifacts of cheap wiring-tools of that time fighting with color clashes when trying to convert sth to KLA.
Also possible we're just art philistines and thus, do not see the deeper meaning of the pink pixels
However, HiRes was obviously not an option :D

Wow. 4 colours. The pink* pixels absolutely make this pic :')
* - sorry.. I know some of you graphicians like to call pink "light red". It's not but, sure, let's allow pink to identify as light red if that helps :p |
