really interesting. i would have a play with this but it seems like this one is made specifically for Noisy Pillars and to add this to my own tune i must find out how the driver works. | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 31 May 2009
Almost 100% like the original ... Impressive work Geir!!! | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 11 March 2009
I had a look at the code and it was sweet! Good stuff! | User Comment Submitted by Archmage on 10 March 2009 User Comment Submitted by Clarence on 10 March 2009
Nice work Geir. :)
And I second Jeff... | User Comment Submitted by Soren on 10 March 2009
Geir: I'd prefer to hear new tunes from YOU. :-) | User Comment Submitted by MacGyver on 10 March 2009
Great coding work! Btw, release type should be changed to C64 Tool, the music is only to show what the player is capable of while the player is the actual release. | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 9 March 2009
Really awesome! and i hear no difference from original, i didnt actually think this would be 100% possible. | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 9 March 2009
Quote:I'm kind of surprised that not more coders have improved the rastertime-usage of popular players Well... we can't be improving old players and release new demos at the same time ;) | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 9 March 2009
Indeed, its great to have Geir around again!

IT's great to see one of my "old" sid heroes doing a comeback with a very usefull little tool. :-)

Congratulations. Smaller player size, much better performance. Great job dude. | User Comment Submitted by Twoflower on 9 March 2009
Nice release. I'm kind of surprised that not more coders have improved the rastertime-usage of popular players in a bigger scale before. | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 9 March 2009
The other day I was browsing through the code of the DMC player and I noticed the amount of JMP and JSR, which take a lot of cycles.
I was sure it was possible to improve music players in general, and you're proving my point :) | User Comment Submitted by daison on 9 March 2009
I'm not a musician, but I do like small players as a coder ;) |
