Thanks for the nice comments!
@Frantic: Very likely I was subconciously inspired HT gold, but I didn't really think about it when I conceived the idea. The main source of inspiration was glitchNES (http://www.no-carrier.com/glitchnes.html). What I managed to see of the hockey-on-acid simulator at LCP was deliciously mesmerizing, though! | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 14 August 2009
@Linde: Very nice! May I ask if you were possibly inspired by HT Gold (the hacked ice hockey game we played at LCP) when you did this? :) | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 12 August 2009
"Writing random values to $d011/$d016 will at some points result in top-bottom/sideborders opening."

We need more sync with audio.
Good one Linde! | User Comment Submitted by Fredrik on 11 August 2009
I like the sync-thing!
And very ryhmic tune!
Alot more demos should be synced.
But perhaps that is a hard thing to do.

Writing random values to $d011/$d016 will at some points result in top-bottom/sideborders opening. In some way, perhaps something like this poked at other locations can unravel other vic bugs. eg place sprites on screen and then randomly put different values in various locations etc | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 10 August 2009
funny it even manages sometimes to remove side/bottom borders:) | User Comment Submitted by Sander on 10 August 2009
Great stuff :) Gotto check that glitch tool! | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 10 August 2009 User Comment Submitted by linde on 10 August 2009
Use 8580 for more intelligible music, and use it on a real machine for better sync. |
