I passed out on a sofa during the party, but I remember this tune. Nice demo! I miss Panda Design. | User Comment Submitted by KAL_123 on 12 September 2020
Relatively short, but nice music and some great effects in this one. | User Comment Submitted by psych on 1 October 2013
Well done mate! Agree with Drax's statement....awesome tune! | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 11 July 2010 User Comment Submitted by El Topo on 23 February 2010
Some nice effects here! I also read all the scrolltext which is quite a feat I think ;) | User Comment Submitted by Axis/Oxyron on 20 February 2010
Yeah, really nice design and this music rockz sooo hard. | User Comment Submitted by NecroPolo on 8 February 2010
Good stuff. I'm especially fond of the music. Drum sounds - awesomeness! | User Comment Submitted by ne7 on 8 February 2010
awesome stuff! loved the panda des. logo and the rather wicked twisty column thingy ;) rockin' | User Comment Submitted by Archmage on 8 February 2010
Skillz!!! Good music and graphics. Love the screen with the face and circles. The only thing I don't really like is the Patterns-logo, but that is because I regard it as a breach in the otherwise flawless design. | User Comment Submitted by Nightlord on 8 February 2010
Radiantx, yeah i was refering to the 16 sprite multiplex. | User Comment Submitted by Zaz on 7 February 2010
Good design, great music. Would have benefited from one more good routine on the coding side. | User Comment Submitted by Paul Bearer on 7 February 2010
Why can't it be a bit longer... that screen with the overlay patterns is so beautiful... | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 7 February 2010
Overall a very good designed demo, but hell damn the music in the end kixx so hard ass!!! never heard a drum and bass so crisp! | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 7 February 2010
innovative nice stuff, music is too randomish :) | User Comment Submitted by Sixx on 7 February 2010
The first "screen" is amazing. Great gfx through the whole demo and very stylish along with a nice soundtrack. Top banana shit! | User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 7 February 2010
MUAHHAWHAWHAAAAWAHWHAAAAA!!!
I MADE IT WORK!!!
i reset machine into monitor of action replay, changed $0802 to sei, then ran code with g0802 and it worked!!!!!!?>>!>!>!??!?!?!
I HAZ CODING SKILLZ!!!!! ;)
Nice demo BTW! and fantastic loop on the end screen, i cannot turn that sh33t off!!!!! :)x$.67!!! | User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 7 February 2010
@Radiantx, it loads, shows the 'Panda Design' logo on cyan background, then i get 'cpu jam at $d023??
I have true drive emulation enabled, cart not inserted, hmmm... not sure why it crashes either.
but don't worry, i'll just run it on Paralells 5 with winvice! :) | User Comment Submitted by daison on 7 February 2010
Very enjoyable little demo. | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 7 February 2010
Some nice looking screens! My favorite is the overlay thing with the green vertical bar. | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 7 February 2010
Thanks for the comments! Working on this demo was a lot of fun, and it was nice to cooperate with Frost and not have to do everything myself for a change. :-)
Ground_Frost: It works fine in WinVICE 2.2 and on the real thing. I don't know why it wouldn't work in VICE 2.1; it's not doing anything particularly weird.
nightlord: I don't think there is anything that could be classed as a DYSP in this demo. The layer effect is charset-based, the twister is (obviously) just a very simple sprite-based one, and apart from that there's not really much in the way of effects, unless you want to call 16 multiplexed sprites and a ROL-scroller effects... Which I wouldn't. | User Comment Submitted by Yazoo on 7 February 2010
a nice and entertaining little demo :-) i just wish it would contain one or two more parts / effects. but good job anyways. | User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 7 February 2010
hmpf! it crashes in Vice 2.1 on mac... :( | User Comment Submitted by 5k3105 on 7 February 2010 User Comment Submitted by Nightlord on 7 February 2010
very nice stuff. i liked the dysp (I guess it is a dysp). Demo feels pretty Iopop-ish at times which is a very good thing. Also cool music... | User Comment Submitted by Motion on 7 February 2010
