Some really nice moments in this one! More epic tunes please. | User Comment Submitted by Richard on 19 March 2010 User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 19 March 2010
Stein : We're the ADD Generation :-D (KIDS?? Dude, I'm heading towards 40!) | User Comment Submitted by Stone on 19 March 2010
Hell yeah! This is awesome! You kids today have no patience. I love the long build-up, it makes the tune very movie-like. | User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 18 March 2010 User Comment Submitted by NecroPolo on 18 March 2010
@Stainless Steel: :)
Outside SDI, you would have been a good producer, too. Your comments always have good points to consider, even if the actual music is not for you.
An objective feedback is the most valuable feedback: It's all about the next step - and no one is entirely sure about that, not even the big guns ;)
@Slimex: Haha, I suck at sound design in a way, that's why I can make a living of it :D Seriously: why do you say that for your sounds? They are okay. | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 18 March 2010
That depends on if you're using SDI :-D | User Comment Submitted by Slimex on 18 March 2010
@StainlessSteel: I know, will you be my producer with the next release? ;)
@NecroPolo: Modern sounds? :O I just do them as I see fit... I actually suck at sound design... And yes... I'm an old-school guy (I guess?), no wonder if it sounds like that. Glad you liked it!
@Jan: The desertwind got you, huh? It really does sound like O1, though... whattahell...? =O *scratches head* Oh yeah, I know it sounds a bit messy but I like it a bit rough.
@Skate: yeah... I tend to take it slow, that's why the long introduction. (I'm old and slow) ;)
@Fredrik: I'm glad you liked it. I thought I'd actually gone a bit too far with that bit. =D
Thank you for the kind words

Less is more. I'd cut the tune down to around 2:30 - 3:00 minutes (less buildup and repeats). The chopper & arabia part are the highlights. Unfortunately, you have to wait until 3 minutes into the tune. | User Comment Submitted by NecroPolo on 18 March 2010
Good one! With these advanced (modern?) SID instruments It has not much to do with old-school but it reminds me of the old times somehow. In certain parts it sounds like a trancey tune by Richard - never a bad thing :)
The warmup is a little long, but that's really no biggie. Also, tastes differ, I like the 'copter part the way it is. | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 18 March 2010
a bit messy, but i recognize something like Oxygene 1 / JMJ in it, haha :D | User Comment Submitted by Skate on 18 March 2010
Introduction is not my cup of tea but rest of the tune is very nice. I liked the part after 04:00. Deserves its name there ;) | User Comment Submitted by Fredrik on 18 March 2010
I like the tune! And nice sounds!
At 3:50 minutes it gets really cool with that helicoptersound! |
