Yes, the GEnie archives have quite a few of those images ... that is where CBA found the ones he posted here.
My archives, and even a few other source I have access to, contain quite a few more images from about five or six top US graphicians. Whenever I can find time, I'll provide copies. |

@Moloch: I got these from GEnie in the states... not from VETO! ...plus I've located other JHM pics from there. :) I've also used Loadstar diskmagazine to source the J.D. Sachs 'Lincoln Memorial at Night'. Not to mention Commodore PowerPlay magazine to identify some of the more obscure images.
As far as the European scene was concerned, they were clueless to Wayne's existance. If you can assist in anyway locating more images from this era, then please contact me!

Uncovering? These weren't lost, in fact the first few that c64pixels put up I'd pointed out to Veto.
All of these images are easily found, including about fifteen more from JHM.

It is fantastic. It is as if I was in Italy again: This marvelous country with its food, people and landscape!
There are probably equally as many places on this earth, which I would have appreciated just as much.
However, the very first time I reached Urbino I knew that (part from the heritage of Piero Della Francescas work
or it being the birthplace of Rafael) that this was just the place to live and die in.
Not depicted in the image though, that seems more to be a Paladian Pomo.
Edit: ok, just read the trivia, haha! Sure it was afterall just that Pomo.
But there is some seriously interesting things going on back in Ireland as well, which I remember from one of my architectural studytrips:
The Newgrange hill and so on. Fantastic creations which was to
do some magic each Wintersolstice, built 3200 BC, WOW! |
