From 1991 to 1994, I always used a monitor namely "SMON $C000". I got it from a friend that time.
I tried to look after a few times whether it's the 64'er S-Mon from '84-'85, but some of the commands are different. And I've found this - almost identical to my old SMON program. For example, it has the Hxxxx for dumping sprites, Zxxxx for charsets (so not starts disk monitor mode), etc. Load and Save differs a bit anyway from this S-Mon 3.0. Tried to download and check all available monitors here on CSDb and I have that gut feeling, maybe my SMON $C000 version should be an older version of this one.
Really nice monitor, at least to my taste. ;) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 23 January 2011
4. adding a new member to a group doesn't need a group to be unlocked. create scener, add the group to it, done. | User Comment Submitted by Cybortech on 23 January 2011
thanks iAN!
this is an code improvement, cca 1993.
the original SMON has been written by N.Mann and Dietrich Weineck in 1984/85 and has been released (in installments) to the public as a type-in listing in the German magazine "64'er". The listings and a detailed description of SMON can be found in issues 11/84, 12/84, 1/85 (p.69), 2/85 (p.72), 4/85 (p.64) and 12/85 (p.100). It has been included in Power64 with the friendly permission of Magna Media. |
