Really interesting how you managed to catch the expression of doc. And when I look at the forehead, left eye and *especially* the right ear, I can see you are able to do much more. | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 9 April 2011
Pretty rough what comes to pixels.. But Doc Brown is surely identified in this one. Nice. | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 8 April 2011
I instantly thought of back to the future here... you have a very cool style, a uniqe and very cool one! | User Comment Submitted by Cresh on 8 April 2011 User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 8 April 2011
No conspiracy theory, credit-police-ing, accusation, criticism or other harm was intended, neither by CreaMD nor by me. Found it interesting to be shown that the colored collar really makes sense, because I didn't remember that Hawaiian shirt. :)
What Mermaid said! Were just curious/speculating.
But since any publicity is good publicity, the imho unnecessary drama might be a good thing for the artist. :) | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 8 April 2011
Lemming: I won't PM you. It IS ontopic. And as far as "giving credit where credit is due," if you do anything that is based on a material produced by someone else it is reasonable and fair to include that in the production info or trivia. Photographs or movies also count to that category. I don't say I force anyone to do that, but it's not "unusual" or "silly" to do that.
Thanx Mermaid. Everyone knows that I never had this agenda in my book. It's Seven's /Digital Excess agenda as far as I remember ;-) | User Comment Submitted by daison on 8 April 2011 User Comment Submitted by Mermaid on 8 April 2011
I don't think CreaMD meant anything bad by posting that photo, quite the opposite, he posted it in response to TheRyk to show that it did infact look more like Doc Brown than Sgt. Elija, not to make any accusations...? Personally I always find it interesting to see what the original picture or any reference pic used looks like.
Anyway, enough drama...it's not a bad picture! That scroller could use some work though, yuck. | User Comment Submitted by lemming on 8 April 2011
Giving credits for who? Christopher Lloyd for doing the role of Doc Brown? The casting directors of Back To The Future? Or the make-up artists? It's not a friggin' Vallejo or Bell.
You can PM me if you want to know what more about my problems, those are off-topic.

There is nothing wrong on crediting sources and generally giving credit where credit is due. I just posted the info I found elsewhere because it's interesting and on-topic. I love the pic anyway. Lemming, what is your problem? | User Comment Submitted by lemming on 8 April 2011
No shit Sherlock, a picture of Doc Brown from Back To The Future has been drawn after Doc Brown from Back To The Future???! How can it be?? What a bloody awful repaintconspiracygate!!
McFly: It's a very nice pic. Ignore the analysts if you can. :)

Now that you mention it, you're right, the nose and the eyes look strikingly similar. | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 7 April 2011 User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 7 April 2011 User Comment Submitted by Sander on 7 April 2011

Well painted, but the face doesn't look like Doc Brown at all. (imagine the pic without hair...) |
