Worthy first place, imo. Subtle use of hires as well as nice use of bordercolours and some helper sprites. Great stuff, Ari :)

At first I thought that sprites had had to be used all over the place because of all the round shapes, but it turns out they're only used where the helmet goes into the upperborder. Well done!

Worthy winner! Excellent colour use, hi-res limitations are hardly noticeable. And nice use of border as well, a clear 10 :-)
