Thanks for all the nice comments. I liked creating the demo very much, even though some pretty much unexpected things happened, which took some time to fix. ;)
Sadly I accidently used a slightly outdated version of VICE when syncing the video and the music, so it's not perfectly in sync as it should be. I think I will have a second look into it.

Thanks for all the nice comments!
@DeeKay: LOL That would be awesome! But it would also bring away a lot of fun from us coders. :)
Seriously, rest assured that the tool you have (not really) seen continues to be under development. At the moment it is not mature enough to release it (it's even missing cut-copy-paste functions), but stuff is slowly getting added. At present it is meant as an omni editor for everything graphics on the C64, but the road to that target is pretty long.
About the sideborder editor, what did you exactly have in mind?

The really interesting thing about this production is the Demosystem that Karoshier made for PC, it's got a timeline etc so you can make your own bitmap animations streaming from disk. I think this could be a good starting point to make a proper PC-based demotool for c64, highly modular with modules for common and custom effects (display bitmap, FLI, charscreens, scrollers, rasterbars, compound/dysp-multiplexers etc) and with a graphical view of the memory allocation and rastertime at any given time in the timeline, with an IRQ-loader that automatically calculates how long it takes to load things... Ah, dreaming... What about that sideborder editor? ;-)

A nice small demo dedicated to the breakpointseries with interesting moments. Let the chocolatebunny strip ;)

Ha! I'm the first one to comment this wonderful release! An honour... First of all, thanks for rescuing the c64 demo compo. This demo is maybe not a shocker in the original sense, but for a firsty it is better than I would expect plus it has two things I personally rank very high:
a) humour and
b) cuteness

Apart from that it features great musics, nice animations, and above all: rabbits of the best possible kind.
