is it just me or are the images loading a little bit faster each time it loops? (: anyway, this is not a demo. this is cool. | User Comment Submitted by MagerValp on 25 April 2009
Added to the todo list of release 2. Thanks :) | User Comment Submitted by tlr on 25 April 2009
Yes, it will seek >35.
If much more than 35 you might have to push back the head manually.
I am asking because you once (several years ago) sent a version of the loader for testing the transfer timing on the DTV.
At that time it didn't work with the DTV so it did a "wild" seek and got stuck. :)

j0x: music is just a relocated version of the hvsc file. What's wrong with it? And yeah, I don't clear the bitmap before loading, so that's normal. Thanks for testing.
tlr: no, no sanity checking on the track/sector arguments. Will the 1541 rom happily seek to track > 35? I use job codes for controlling the mech, no manual head stepping. | User Comment Submitted by tlr on 25 April 2009
Nice!
Does it guard against "wild" seeks? | User Comment Submitted by j0x on 24 April 2009
Tested on 1541ultimate (latest batch, ethernet-enabled) as drive #8 and #9. Also tested on old Alps-type 1541 as drive #8 and (soft-changed) #9.
c64 is an old breadbin, board revision unknown.
Music seems to be a remix or a bad rip, and image memory doesn't seem to be initialized. Other than that nothing to report.
Seems to work just fine.

Please add a comment if you test this on real hardware, stating what kind of computer, what kind of drive connected, any cartridge or 3rd party kernal, etc. Oh, and of course if it works or not :)
Thanks.
