What to say ? Still one of the mystic Demos of these Days.
And also of course the sad music from Jeroen Tel.
I want back the Days...

For some reason this demo stands out of the many other good ones from that year. It must be the combination of great music and cool graphics - lady is not nude, this is style folks!! ;) | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 21 June 2015
demos should be seperate, 80s top demos.
one file demo, is a crappy category.
once, all demos were one file. its stupid system. fair will be, top demos, 1982-1990, 1990-1999, 2000-2010, 2010-2020, etc | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 21 June 2015
when Charles code a musicplayer that takes Jeroen Tel out of the soundmonitor and into the future, it is, learned C64 code skill, and peeking at hubbards player, and WILL to go max now, and not wait anymore. | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 21 June 2015
when Charles is mastering/tuning a entire movie, the entire soundtrack/sfx/sound in it for movie companies, its not primarily something he learned. its something he always had a talent for. audial and visual. | User Comment Submitted by Mr. Mouse on 5 June 2015 User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 14 February 2012
What Flexo said!
This one was a must-have back then and brings back the late 80s feeling even some 25 years later.
Being still a new assembler coder, FX are kewl enough 2 my mind :D
Music! Charles Deenen's masterpiece if you ask me and that Jeroen zak was and is still top notch anyway. In the aftermath, I'm a little sorry and even ashamed for having used those brilliant tunes in such an humble production as NeoTunes, I'm an unprofessional, unworthy cretin. ;) | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 8 July 2011
This one never goes out of style. This is what it's all about for me. Don't need groundbreaking effects just as long as it's in balance like this. | User Comment Submitted by TPM on 8 July 2011
I have this demo in heavy rotation.. d*mn good, still! Awesome in every aspect :) | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 18 December 2010
Indeed. That's the way it is. | User Comment Submitted by Stone on 18 December 2010
This must be one of the most influential demos of all time, especially in terms of graphical style. It seems like just about everybody copied that font design method. Even today I don't think it hasn lost any of its appeal. It's timeless! | User Comment Submitted by GT on 22 July 2010
This really sings and shines even to this very day. :) | User Comment Submitted by Yazoo on 21 July 2010
so i didnt comment on this yet? umm... well - this demo was awesome back then, and it was one of the demos which made me believe in the sid chip :) | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 21 April 2009
Indeed. Charles was one helluva great SID composer.
That's the way it is (intro) is still one of the damn best SID's ever concieved. | User Comment Submitted by Steppe on 18 April 2007
Added sids. Press F1 to get into the last part (is that a hidden one? found it by accident...) | User Comment Submitted by Twoflower on 22 March 2007
Groundbreaking demo. Almost everything with this demo was way ahead of its time. | User Comment Submitted by pernod on 26 October 2006
Eventhough it may be a bit boring to watch now, this demo was a huge leap in graphics and music style back then. | User Comment Submitted by Jak T Rip on 24 October 2006
I always adored Charles Deenen for his brilliant musics. I didnt know he could do such perfect code&gfx, too...! | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 7 March 2006
what's that with TLD having done the text for the demo? | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 7 March 2006
Damn, I liked that demo when it came. The music is simply outstanding and a milestone in the history of sid music imo. | User Comment Submitted by A3 on 7 March 2006
Insanely cool music by Charles Deenen. The whole demo is really nice, featuring some very stylish demo parts. |
