I have just (re)discovered this gem! Just WOW! | User Comment Submitted by Ninja on 30 January 2019
Wow, more than 5 years already... Rediscovered this gem recently and got a new record (2:10.55). Paddle support would have been awesome for higher speeds. | User Comment Submitted by Nith on 6 January 2015
I really like the music, great tune | User Comment Submitted by Medicus on 14 December 2013
Bugs? I seriously thought it was meant to be that way... but now as I know it... it does not change anything ;). Great game! | User Comment Submitted by Ninja on 14 December 2013
Yay, I just broke the 2 minute barrier (2:02:07)! Very enjoyable game, is a fun distraction when coding Linux drivers :) The sprite bugs are a little annoying when playing a lot. Yet, the rest is so awesome that it doesn't hurt much. Love the tune, it is really motivating to try again just to see how it continues. Thanks, great stuff IMO. | User Comment Submitted by Byteman on 8 December 2013
Cool! Awesome! But... Will there be available D64-version? :) | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 8 December 2013 User Comment Submitted by iceout on 7 December 2013
Nice! It can be dizzying after a while. | User Comment Submitted by Roysterini on 7 December 2013
Very impressive and if you ask me, AWESOME!
Someone commented it's boring? Well, I guess it's a casual game really, so it's not something you'd play for a long time.
It's fun to pick and play and try to beat your best....then move on.
Come and go.
I love it. | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 6 December 2013
<offtopic> Love is in the air. </offtopic> | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 6 December 2013
perfect match for your craxx then =) | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 6 December 2013
May be great from the technical side, but becomes boring very fast. | User Comment Submitted by Richard on 5 December 2013
Absolutely amazing. Very original. I am still trying to beat my 1.01.58 record. | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 3 December 2013
Wow! Amazing feat to port this to c64! Definately not your first choice when you look for currently popular porting candidates, so kudos Paulko64! ;-)
The game itself is really nauseating though, even sober i almost feel the motion sickness... But I guess that's part of the concept! ;-D
Definately let drunk people play this on the next party. Just make sure you have a bucket nearby, or you'll end up cleaning your space like me on X2012! <:-) (still wonder who the amateur was that puked under my table!) | User Comment Submitted by Cargo on 2 December 2013
Very good game! \o/
But... inverted directions in control? | User Comment Submitted by Shadow on 2 December 2013
I made it to 1:35 after a few tries, but the flashing colors that start at about 45 seconds and continues after that get a bit too annoying, I would have preferred slower changing colors, but I guess the flashing is there to add to the difficulty level.
Other than that, great fun to play, and a major technical achievement to squeeze it onto the C64! | User Comment Submitted by Paulko64 on 2 December 2013
@Oswald: The game uses 20 different precalculated screen/charram combinations. The walls are made up of 240 different precalculated expanded multiplexed sprites. While the music and code have to sit somewhere in between :) | User Comment Submitted by bepp on 2 December 2013
Awesome game. But controls [when rotating] freak me out. Too bad the tune restarts every time - so far I have only managed to hear the first 15 seconds :-| | User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 2 December 2013
Need more games like this. Originality galore, (rather than the cliched platform type) | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 2 December 2013
moves pretty fast, how is this done? censor color rotation, or... ? quite often there are diagonal drawing/update bugs in the white shapes. | User Comment Submitted by Lynx on 2 December 2013
1:03 at 3rd try! Absolutely awesome game, stunning SIDtune.
Game of the year together with Monster Buster | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 2 December 2013
1:05:37 ;) As splendid as the original and mobile versions. The only thing that can be done is pulsating - originally everything pulsates including the core and player's dot ;) | User Comment Submitted by dink on 2 December 2013
Awesome game!! thanks Paulko64 :) | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 1 December 2013
fuck. it will get late tonite because of this :=) | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 1 December 2013 User Comment Submitted by Doc Strange on 1 December 2013
I love this one, a winner for me. | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 1 December 2013
I liked the original, and I FUCKING LOVE THIS. Outstanding! Really really outstanding. It's a demo part coming alive! Well done! | User Comment Submitted by fenz on 1 December 2013 User Comment Submitted by Paulko64 on 1 December 2013
I should have issued a health warning with this release :). The stroboscopic effect was added because of increased difficulty, but it can make people feel nauseous as well. I accept no liability of damage to your C64 by vomiting all over the keyboard :) | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 1 December 2013 User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 1 December 2013 User Comment Submitted by STF on 1 December 2013
Great game ! Now, i must find an hospital... | User Comment Submitted by Deev on 1 December 2013
Nice one! I don't play many games on my phone, but I do play Super Hexagon quite a lot. I've often wondered how close a conversion could be made for the C64. This is definitely easier than the original (I significantly beat my best ever Super Hexagon score on my second go!), with less patterns, and I noticed you can die from hitting the white blocks side on, but it's a nice effort and it's great that there's been a conversion of this! | User Comment Submitted by janzl on 1 December 2013
Simply amazing! Never expected to see anything like this on the Commie! | User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 1 December 2013
what ian said. Never played the original, but when I saw the game concept of the original I already thought: yeah, that's what I imagined games to be/look like in 20xx. and having a C64 version is totally awesome. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 1 December 2013
