Thanks for the nice words Joe! Indeed there are a lot of "Delysid" logos in this one. I think it's the result while there wasn't any overall concept for this tiny demo as far as i know?! In autumn 2013 Dr J asked me to pixel a space station ... followed by a delysid logo. And while Alex is a good friend of mine, another logo and finally the wizard followed too.
I also agree with you here, the text ... thanks for watching the demo together with the fade out wasn't the best thing to do here! :(
It's a bit frustrating to put so much efforts and time into a production and only a few people notice them!
Place #10 in the ranking is still acceptable ... but only a few comments and 22 votes here at CSDb.dk let me doubt? |

I do however like the effort, not since the late 80:ies
have I seen so many screens telling the group name once again.
Most hilarious.
Great music and well put effort into graphics and code, nonetheless. |

Re-watching this one from the YouTube clip available from the party.
Makes me wonder if the text "Thanks for watching the Demo",
together with a fade down was the most intelligent thing to write?

a little a side note to the production :
most of the gfx was ready for BCC#08 but
i had some install problems and then wanted to release in on Flashback 2014 and this wasn't also went to outgoing (though massive support by Onslaught members) so second time for no release despite the demo was almost done eventually i decided to go to X no matter what.. and again face a problem as i couldn't come to X due to financial problem but Guy shavitt helped out. i want to say thanks for some special friends: Nexus for incredible gfx delivery , Shine for always been for me for good advices logos and testing , Guy Shavitt for end tune , big thanks to Scarzix for awesome music, major help being a good friend and much more. thanks also to: TheUser, Steven Dalton and friends from AFL : Xenox and Gothicman and Nomistake . hope you like this one side demo :-) |
