well let's put it like that:
- first of all, we never meant to kick anyone's asses really hard, esp not ATA's. Maybe we wanted to go on some statwankers' and bellyachers' nerves this summer.
- next I admit this one was - inspite of rush - meant as a quality crack which went ...uhm... not so well. The mystery character of the game is no excuse, though it's really mysterious on the brink of comprehensibility. It's a great game, and I had deciphered enough of it to test properly (at least I completed a few missions in the original game, so I could have detected the most serious goof), but, alas, lacked the time as I'm on vacation. However, given the goofs, our version is not recommendable, play the original.
- Bottom line: No real need for drama, nobody was hurt (maybe apart from the pride of MYD - which ain't such a big deal anyway, as we do not take ourselves really seriously), plus saimo's game got some extra attention and all the summer slackers got sth to frown upon, it that's not okay, what else is drama base for ;)
- Lesson learned, next releases will be more properly done (as usual).
Cheers
Ryk

I'm thinking I should make video tutorials to explain the game. The only problems are time, and the relative low power of my PC (I've tried to record a video with VICE, but it just can't make it at 50 FPS). Maybe I'll give it a go in a few weeks, during my upcoming vacations.
Anyway, the basic concept of PHASE A is: clear the bitbricks (the red 0/1 characters in the background) by means of the trail, and catch the icons that appear on the borders to recharge, power up, and avoid nasty events ;)

As for the crack, if you just want to disable collision detection, just patch the places where I read $d01e or the variable that enables the shield (but this second trick works only for PHASE A, though).

@hedning

You're right, I had not thought of that. Thanks for the suggestion. Done.

Hey guys, thanks for the attention, but... this crack actually makes it impossible to complete even the first level :o
In fact, the Peekpoker leaves no trail, so no bitbrick gets ever cleared... with the result that the progress is a constant 0!
I guess you did not understand the basics of PHASE A.
BTW, the tunes got messed up as well.
