Glad you like the picture.. It looks like when I come across light, shadow
and perspective I fuckup things, maybe I better avoid them.. Just see the
upcoming upload, my new picture "Cauldron", again the faults explained
which I saw.. So, check it out soon..

I think JSL is brainwashing us all with his pictures, just by releasing so many. He sure has his own lofi style, and I used to hate it, but some of these new pictures as just cosy, in all their imperfection. This one has some details that made me laugh out loud (in appreciation): the well reminded me of Nebulus, the bird's nest on top of the chimney looked like a woolen hat and the bike in front of the tree almost makes it look pornographic. Thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by Tim on 23 August 2008
nice and cute :) i'm almost waiting for the animals to turn into sprites and it becomming a little magic-disk filler demo :) | User Comment Submitted by Honesty on 20 August 2008
Yes picture is nice.
But to be honest, from the last pic on i got a pervert impulse release a shooter with it... ;)

Lots of comments here (and about other pictures by JSL) about the perspective. Personally I totally love this style. | User Comment Submitted by leonofsgr on 20 August 2008

Naaaw, thats so cute. Lets make demos for our kids. Nice stuff, but I prefer your petscii porn gfx JSL. Have been watching some of those slideshows with awe. (: | User Comment Submitted by Paul Bearer on 20 August 2008
Sure, the perspective is a bit strange again, but this picture has so many nice little details and is really colorful... a feel-good picture! | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 20 August 2008
jsl, dont worry, your pictures has a flavor, and we like em. keep them coming :) | User Comment Submitted by JSL on 20 August 2008
Next time I better take some time to check for any mistakes before
transferring the disc, in the other graphics from recently there
where few mistakes which I fixed, but I hate getting my discs out
again, scratching the file, replacing with new version (scratching
isn't good for discs, I found out) I save to two discs always to be
sure, when it's final to me and on disc I don't want to make any
changes, then again I still do it if I must, and even in a recent
picture I saw for a 3th time some pixel-errors which needed a fix, so
for a 3th time making an executable.. Yuk.. Faults, I see lateron..
I don't know how other graphicians look upon theirselves, but with most
of my works I just don't like my pixels, suppose I didn't released them,
then you guys couldn't enjoy for example FARM, VILLAGE and others, I just
release them to show you guys so you can enjoy them a bit.. I release
almost every graphic onto csdb, good or bad, in my eyes most things are
bad, but in your eyes it's cool graphics I did.. Yeah sorry, JSL sucks,
I drag myself down.. Don't?, tough there are still few JSL-works I
am proud of.. :)

Another nice picture with that cozy feel to it! | User Comment Submitted by Yazoo on 19 August 2008
yup, theres some faults you made in this pic - but - i really like that. it shows that its really handmade and somehow adds extra dynamic. unperfect stuff sometimes looks better to me than just having it all perfect. | User Comment Submitted by Tao on 19 August 2008
I read the title as "Grandmal" first, and couldn't possibly fathom what the picture had to do with a tonic-clonic seizure ;-P
Upon re-reading the title I realised that it was an exclamation mark, not an "l"...
Nice picture =) | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 19 August 2008
I like it!!! Especially the downsized bike. ;D Your style rox! :D | User Comment Submitted by Jayce on 19 August 2008
not to flame, but if you are not satisfied with this picture, why release it?? | User Comment Submitted by Skate on 19 August 2008
first, I must tell that I like JSL's pictures. What I don't get is he's also aware of his mistakes but he keeps releasing pictures without making corrections.
I'm starting to believe that he has some powers like Isaac Mendez in Heroes series. He pixels these pictures in precognitive trance. When he gets back to the real world, he is unable to fix the bugs ;) | User Comment Submitted by JSL on 19 August 2008
D64 has Executable and Workstages as usually.. Possible faults could be that the
house is in 3D while the well next to it is in 2D, then also I suppose that behind
the well it would go downhill, dunno, faults.. faults.. Myself ain't that happy about
this pic.. Maybe you'll like, a peacefull image.. Enjoy!! ;)
