AAAAAAAAA The drums sound like digis! Really good for a 16x tune! | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 16 March 2021
one big wow and a pack of smaller hows \o/ | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 15 March 2021
Damn, I'm sooo tempted to do industrial/noise like this. Cannot get enough of this gem <3 | User Comment Submitted by Flotsam on 15 March 2021
Only three votes so far - this is so rad that people don't know how to vote. :D Same with me, have to digest this for a while, but I'm in awe with the amount of radness involved. And Joe does his absolute best to steal the show... Great job guys! | User Comment Submitted by DKT on 15 March 2021 User Comment Submitted by Zaz on 15 March 2021
Oh this is great! This is the kind of stuff I like!
My only wish is that there had been some moving things and texts, to make it a proper one-file demo. | User Comment Submitted by Eric Dobek on 14 March 2021
Well then, I am definitely taking back what I said about Warp8 back during the Filterless compo. His stuff is very experimental and really pushes the C64 beyond its limits. This sounds more like a heavily compressed song, but in a good way. I cannot wait to hear what you have to offer in the future. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 14 March 2021
Gotta listen to Didgeridoo from Apex Twin, BTW - Cyclethief gave me similar vibes somehow ;) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 14 March 2021 User Comment Submitted by w4rp8 on 14 March 2021
Thanks for the nice feedback. I‘ll see how to get a sidfile from a prg. Thanks also to Joe, who worked around the stolen cycles and tough colorlimits to push it over the border by any means. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 14 March 2021
I made a sid out of this, but originallly spans 0800-efff. Then removing the graphics and folding some of the music data moving $e000-efff to $4000 loading range can be limited to $0800-cfff, still lots of empty unused areas (ex: 5000-8000) make me think Warp8 can easily make a music-only prg that doesn't even goes over $a000. | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 14 March 2021
From the technical aspect this is interesting but composition-wise to me it gets soon to the boring side.
Cool pic by Joe (as usual) and what Jammer said about adding the .SID files... | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 14 March 2021
OMG, that's killer! It absolutely transcends what C64 is capable of. Pure audio/visual climax <3
BTW, plz, add damn .SID files, guys! You lose half an audience without them! | User Comment Submitted by 饾榿饾棥饾棜 on 13 March 2021
This track does not like NTSC at all. You will get a very interesting result how it flickers and and sounds and gives up Epilepsy. | User Comment Submitted by psych on 13 March 2021
Really good tune!
And Joe's artwork...damn! Awesomeness! |
