I have been evaluated as an underground musician 10.000 other ways during the years. I know my place, my values, strengths and weaknesses. I've been through glorious paramounts, big falls, good times and bad times. Long story :)
I've just added more info for a fuller picture, not as some kind of excuse ;) These SIDs represents the first (lost) years of my 20-years long musician past and as it seems from the feedback of you guys (that I enjoy to read) I was underground even at the beginning :)
Ticking a number just represents that the music is for / not for your taste - don't worry about that! :)
It feels like testing some -not-for-everydays- 1993 car that had zero miles in it. It is pretty outdated - but fun to drive :D Now the times are different. These SIDs are from the old days, 1989-1994.
And you're right - the GMC tune opened a new phase in my SID composing experience in 1991, and its 1993 remix of that opened an another one. Maybe, a 3rd step opens the next phase - I'm gonna do it sometime:) |

Sure! After composing a number of "balanced" and nice sounding melodic pieces, I totally got bored with the sound and started to push my 8580 to the limits more and more. This short tune was my "nuclear test area" of sound. It is a total mess from a point of view - but from the other point of view it is raw and aggressive that paved the way of anything I did with music later on.
It has a 100% tempo sync - but man, you're totally right with the notes! If the filter ghost notes (that do nothing but cause some sonic mayhem in other channels) had some clean waveform, you would hear a lot of chromatic mess running to and fro. That would be some total note anarchy :)

but seriously, reason why i say it sounds b0rked it has some great pieces here and there but sounds like certain patterns don't fit like channels are out of sync. |

It is a wonderfully represented reset-feedback-mayhem, b0rked by some wimpy regular musical notes that everyone uses and don't really fit the picture :) |
