Great work! This one revived some memories ... I really like this version with the fixes done, hisaver and Speccy pic added. Thank you, Wolf!

My God, I cannot believe that an extra picture that *maybe* should have been released separately and not linked with the main prg could have caused so much drama. Get a life, guys.
And about lame hi-score saver... well the vast majority of emulators save hiscores, not only ranking table. See for an example MAME, Final Burn Neo, etc. etc. Following the same reasoning, the whole emulation scene is lame, because they save pacman hiscore that has not an hiscore table....

Right, having fun is key. Yet you can't resist getting mad, so be it.

Add yourself a lame converted piccy of cover art for arbitrary reasons.

Add yourself a lame speccy pic, because that surely improves the quality.

Get pissed off when someone asks you why you do such things.

Call them lame for adding a high saver to whatever with a high score and not a table.

Make a demo about it.

Most important is having fun with it.

Never would do just a lame three Byte Highscore-Saver. If there's a Highscore-Table included, and no Version released with added Save-Routine, it makes sence.

I have the most fun with games where I added the whole Highscore-Table itself (twenty till yet).

Few people likes it, a few don't.

A few groups send greetings, a few don't.

Make yourself a picture if we care, or not.

@Fungus: but you got the point: doing what you want and enjoy. That's exactly the sum of our love for the scene. Supporting both sceners & followers. We don't create any trend but we are free in supporting the crack as we like, we don't follow any path (just the release name), the rest is written in our releases where we try to do our best adding also hi-score table, spectrum pic and original ones - made by us, all is mixe with always a spice of our own that allow feedback, votes, personal messages and of course even criticism. To keep the scene alive!

I'm not trying to make you mad or anything. I appreciate bug fixes, high score savers, trainers, loading pics (original ones), and stuff. These make better versions than older ones, and was the whole point of starting oldie cracking (also shorter without ripping stuff out). I can start a topic sure, not sure what to call it. I just don't see the point in making new loading screens and taking ones from spectrum, which has nothing to do with the game originally. I'm all for doing what you want and you enjoy, I'm trying to understand some things though. I am NOT complaining or bitching, I just don't understand this trend.

@Exile. There is an hiscore, I save it. I don't see the point in install an Hi-Saver only when there is a ranking table/list.
This is an *enhanced* version. There are bug-fixes, documentation, extras, etc. But if you don't like it, don't download it.

@Fungus, I guess you have to open a thread in the forum and discuss, because not only HF does what are you complaining for, but also other groups like CFN, ROLE, etc. etc. So asking here it seems really inappropriate.

But what would that add to an older cracked version as you can't make a better version of it. it should be to be enhanced, bugfix, ntsc fixed or whatever to be worth the effort. Why are you always build in Hi score savers, that aren't there normally. just my take on this.

Honest inquiry, is it possible to get versions without non c64 related loading screens or self made ones? Just the games in their original states?
