Yeh Ian, I wasn't sure then. And I wanted to add it as a release before it would have been added to HVSC :) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 26 September 2009
Logan: no, let me understand, really.
This is just the same file you sent me some days ago, about which I asked you if you wanted it to add to HVSC and you said "noo, lol, it's just a test, need to improve it of course" and so on, NOW you release it as it is anyway?
Oh well. Once released, will be in HVSC, you can't avoid it now. =) | User Comment Submitted by clonK on 26 September 2009
I quite like it. Kinda trancey. I like the quality of the samples and the fact that the main guitar sample has some compression-ducking goin on which adds to the groove along with the kick and snare. Sounds like it's been produced to that effect. I can definitely see playing this really loud on a dancefloor, with a bit of eq to try and mask the noise :P but still, yeah... :) p.s. a tune comin from me soon so i won't feel like a no-goods-to-show-but-spiel-to-talk err-er...
edit: it kicks like an sp1200!!! | User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 25 September 2009
i like the fact that we have some cool tech releases in the year 2009 on the c64, i don't see this much activity on the amiga scene.... wasn't c64 supposed to be dead in 1993? mm.... | User Comment Submitted by booker on 25 September 2009
Well, it may be boring..ok. It's just a loop or two. I guess it's a restart for Logan with composing again.
But giving a non-fake release vote 1 is particularly unfair to do. Any reason for you, Richard to do it?
Steppe, can you do 8bit samples with Polytracker? | User Comment Submitted by Steppe on 25 September 2009
"A for effort" release. This is boring, sorry. Nothing what couldn't have been done in Polly Tracker V1.2 years ago. | User Comment Submitted by booker on 25 September 2009
Any resid-fp chip will work. | User Comment Submitted by LOGAN on 25 September 2009
When you listen to it in VICE, make sure in Settings > SID Settings set the SID type to reSID-fp and choose a SID model 6581 reSID-fp to hear the music ;) | User Comment Submitted by grennouille on 25 September 2009 User Comment Submitted by Richard on 25 September 2009
Where's the music? All I hear is a discordant high pitched sound. Is the file broken?
Edit: My mistake. It's a digi. |
