yes ofcourse, i know how it's done (and i've actually already implemented it) =) | User Comment Submitted by Viktor on 13 November 2006
If the Deformat is like chkdsk, it is not hard to follow the chains. You should make a table, with the first byte of sectors, and follow the chain. Ther will be a lot of false of-course. :) My CRC64 do something like this. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 12 November 2006
you can think of "deformat" as beeing the equivalent to the msdos "chkdsk" tool... it will recover files when the directory is broken or lost due to a softformat (or whatever else). | User Comment Submitted by Viktor on 12 November 2006 User Comment Submitted by Skate on 10 November 2006
Deformat and Repair Directory features would be very useful. I'm looking forward for the next versions with these features. | User Comment Submitted by MagerValp on 10 November 2006
Groepaz has sent in a bunch of enhancements and bugfixes for my D64 library. I've merged most of it, and I'm slowly working towards releasing a much improved 0.96...
