WOW! I love this intro :)

The charset in this is so cool. The gothic style of the main logo is one of my favorites. The routines in this intro must consume a large amount of rastertime yet everything functions smoothly on NTSC. Well done!

Wasn't meant to be in the compo, refering to The Overkiller.

this is really great. looking at it upside down makes it even greater :-) the logo rocks on every perspective. and i also love the remake of this tune! legendary!
all in all one of the most original intros in this compo.

The sprite on the border does NOT reflect the video standard of the machine running the intro. It is in line with the title of the intro, "Ambigram": it's itself an ambigram that normally reads NTSC but also PAL if you rotate the view of 180 degrees (as mentioned in the scroll-text as well).
So the sprite on the border represents the duality of the intro: it runs on both NTSC and PAL. It could be seen as the equivalent of a sprite from the old days reading "NTSC/PAL" but that would not be just as cool and in line with the main theme of the intro...

There's anything to detect, it's NTSC and PAL at the same time, but you see PAL just looking at the screen rotating at 360 degrees ;)

Excellent logo, nice intro. But the "NTSC" at bottom shouldn't say PAL when in PAL mode? =)
