@E$G @Shine

Thank you both! Your comments are certainly helpful.
This was exactly my personal consideration, when I took the decision to upload my work here @ CSDb. Seeking for advice, in order to help me to improve my skills and firing up my motivation.

This one, was actually my third pic in a row. By the time being, I've already finished two more full screeners in this month. They were created basically to make some intros for promoting "IamRetro" and "RetroPlanet". The later is a great Greek fanzine in printed format, a valuable source of infoz related to retro stuff. I have also sketched 2-3 logos. (If you're interested, I will gladly upload them as well)

A good friend, editor in chief on "RetroPlanet" and a former member of "F95 Crew" in Greece, was the culprit, "pushing" me to ignite my creative spark that I had in dormant state for years. Not only but also my mates kept teasing me for ages ` to be more active and productive \(@DAT-Alex and @dR_wHO this is for you lads :) )

If it was me to judge my own work, I would give a "6" or maybe a "7". Both would be enough (maybe adding an "1" plus, as a bonus for let's say "the beginner's motivation" :))

Lesson no1 learned and "time" is the key word. By calmly looking over this one, I easily mark a bunch of flaws, screaming to get fixed or to rework again from scratch. This could dramatically alter the final outcome by surfacing up errors and flaws, otherwise impossible to find when in rush. Starting from border color, re-coloring the ground underneath the heroes and even the moonlight on top or fixing some shadows here and there. Yes, I would fixed them, If I had more time to work with....So, Thank U all, once more! I will keep myself going to see what I can possibly contribute for more... :)

Hey GeoAnas, your picture is for a firstie not bad at all! To begin with a fullscreen scenery is brave. I would suggest you train your skill with smaller parts of a picture. What helped me alot was and is to watch (early) pictures from other artists to understand what they did and why. If you are unsure, you can ask people on Facebook or something, what improvements should be done.
This picture has a lot of emotions, at least for me.
Don't give up and surprise us again! :)

George,
I consider this one as a positive start and good idea for the pic. Just improve the quality of realization, learning better the tool, use of colors and so on.
As you said you have good feelings with the scene and the wish to learn having fun. It's the main purpose that we have in HF, so take care of feedback and I'm sure in 6 months you won't believe to your eyes what you will provide us! Good luck.

@Joe, @Thunder.Bird
Thanks for your positive comments! Really appreciate and respect your work.

@Dr.j
My good friend, you're absolute right! With a pinch of love and eager to learn, I feel like my journey has just begun! Pixeling, worked also like an anti stress ball to me. Nothing else matters than to find the best way to mix colors and give shape to the idea inside my head. Still many miles ahead and a long distance to cover but I like the idea :)
CSDb is a great school, a valuable source of information with tons of extraordinary releases, for anyone willing to study and learn from them.

C64 is still the king, no doubt on that.
