hedning: please post the multicolour version you made, definitely! Thanks! | User Comment Submitted by iLKke on 10 December 2012 User Comment Submitted by Sander on 9 December 2012 User Comment Submitted by hedning on 7 December 2012
I made a multicolor version. Looks pretty good, but I want Akiras blessing before any spread. | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 7 December 2012
@Akira: there are no hires nor koala limitations on the DTV.
Besides that, you have a palette of 256 colors =) | User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 5 December 2012
Nice logo. but could have been done in non interlaced format | User Comment Submitted by Akira on 5 December 2012
AH there was an executable, knew it.
That looks pretty cool!!! No need to be sorry!
So I take it HiRes limitations are not much so on the DTV? | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 5 December 2012 User Comment Submitted by Akira on 5 December 2012
Yeah Oswald, I know I need to learn a lot about HiRes. It's the goal! | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 5 December 2012
with a bite more careful planning (taking char boundaries into account, a bit wider space between letter) it could have been done easily. | User Comment Submitted by Akira on 5 December 2012
Yeah the idea was to use hires+sprites mode which I really like, but it didn't quite work out and at some point I gave up.
This is what happens because I pixel on Deluxe Paint on the Amiga and it's not as easy to remember the limitations with it. Next time I will try hard to make it high res, I'm only learning :D
SWAG!! hahaha
Here you can see how far I got with highres+sprites. It's like 80%

awesome fresh clean style. edit: yeah a hires spritelayer on top of a hires bitmap would do the job. | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 5 December 2012 User Comment Submitted by HCL on 5 December 2012
Like the concept, but hires bitmap + sprites should do it at least 99%. | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 5 December 2012
Nice, but I don't like interlace.
Perhaps hires with a sprite overlay could work? | User Comment Submitted by dink on 5 December 2012 User Comment Submitted by crayon on 5 December 2012
An original and creative. What about a native C64 resolution (hires or multicolor)? | User Comment Submitted by Akira on 5 December 2012
This is another one I failed to make meeting High Res standards so I ended up experimenting with Drazlace format. It's horrible on the emulator but it looks quite cool on my real C64! |
