@HCL: Vice is yielding USBC and ANC mnemonics – how do you use these in this FLI context?

Just to be clear, sprites are only on the FLI-bug area (3 leftmost chars). The rest is pure FLI. 10 sprites are needed to cover 200 lines. Top down the first 4 sprites are only one layer, the next two have 3 layers, next two have 4 layers, and the last two have one layer.

Ah! So you have multiple sprite layers that you probably moved around alot to get the best reults.. what fiddling work! Both the picture and the execution is ace. Thank you, HCL and cArrion!

Lovely image! Very nice coloring. That shade around the ball to the left is working excellently.
+ For the FLI trick!

Well, i'd better post here before Deekay comes by and tells me stopid and that i should have coded a FLI-converter instead of doing the work by hand ;). I actually enjoy doing such work now and then, and anyone is free to make a diagnosis.

Technically.. most FLI-pictures bug-area work by using only one mc-sprite-layer + magic-color + background and light gray, then the timing easily allows for one color-split per line. Carrion's color-mixing is quite color-consuming though :) so the area around those fingers were quite tricky..

@Jack T
What HCL did is the same thing he did with SID Illustrated SID Illustrated , meaning he put layers of sprites on top of the FLI Bug area. Normally you could say what's the big deal, but after seeing the first version I was ready to give up but HCL then stepped in with 4 layers of sprites and it looks like it was supposed to look when I pixeled it in Timanthes unrestricted mode. For me It's magic.

Very "non-Carrion'ish" and brilliantly executed!
Congratulations. I hope it wins the compo.

I have big respect and big "thank you" to HCL/Booze Design for helping me and coding this FLI routine. Thanks a lot mate!.

Now I would;t be myself if I don't do C+4 version and this time also an Amiga variation...
