Though I'm a huge F242 fan, I have to say: the "lyrics" of Kampfbereit are complete crap.

Einstein ist auf dem Strand nun
Und die Fahnen klappern
Einstein ist auf dem Strand nun
Traenenbenetzte Augen
Und der Wind macht den Sand fliegend
Handgranaten - kampfbereit

I'm not throwing eggs either. I'm very mild at the moment ;-)

Just take our advice, do some quality control and within a few years you're a SID mega-star.
And see it on the bright side, you've got your own HVSC dir now ;-)

Stainless: Sure, he is a beginner, no problem with that. But releasing 10 tunes or more within a couple of weeks is just pointless. No, Frederik, I am not throwing eggs at you :)

Have no chance to listen the sid right now, but I like that someone still listens to Front 242.

I like them since around 88.

I do agree that the soundwork needs lots of improvement. I do however give Fredrik the benefit of being a beginner.
We all know how much time it takes to refine one's ability to make good instruments. And Fredrik needs to spend alot more time on that, undoubtedly

But unless you're a SID prodigy, this may take atleast (a) year(s) of constant work.

I'm not going to comment on anything like variety and song structure, since there isnt much there to comment on. I'd probably try doing more interesting covers, even if you love the monotony of EBM.

What Scout said. People are going to help you if you are *willing* to improve. It doesn't look like you are, tho.

I kindoff like it, though not as a cover.

Nice to have a fellow EBM fan here aboard the CSDb-train but...

This SID interpretation is boring, the bass is far too muddy in comparison with the Front242 one and the rest of the sounds lack of inspiration as well.

Also (and this is said to you quite some times by quite some people) try to spend some more time in finishing/polishing a tune.
That is, if you want to be taken serious instead of being yet another retro-troll jumping the 8bit nostalgia bandwagon.

Now go away and I hope you come back next month with a more decent tune.

This sid should be played at very high volume, and on a powerful amplifier.
