This porting is still in our "to do" list :) | User Comment Submitted by e5frog on 19 June 2014
Would be fun to have Moonstone on the C64, a version that doesn't crash before the game is over. I see there's still a lot to do, is it planned to be finished or was it just a fun to do thing?
I first reacted to the monks being transparent where they might have been planned to be black.
Don't know how much time has been spent but I'm not impressed by the direct graphic conversion from Amiga look of the grahics. Some extra editing would be nice to see to show of C64:s excellent graphic qualities. Music is a placeholder I guess, feels very wrong if you played the original. When they enter the arena they look more like RC cars rolling in than a walking man from above.
Because of the presumed conversion the text looks cluttered in the selection screen.
Knight is partly transparent as well, but it looks OK. I'd definitely buy this if it was finished. | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 14 August 2012
Released and discussed back in 2005 at Lemon and here: Moonstone, the c64 version . Strangly noone added it to the database, so I hope the GB64 guys will be happy now. |
