Well, this artwork is fantastic, no question. | User Comment Submitted by Achim on 29 August 2011
The oldschool touch is just perfect. I wish I'd asked you to draw a titlescreen for my On The Farm series... | User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 29 August 2011
yes it took alot of self control NOT to dither the front sheep, but i wanted it to match the "woolly" text so i kept my hands off it. the BG sheep got a bit dithered because the platforms were dithered and so he looked "cut out and stuck on" when he was flat. the alien yes, i admit got dithered because he made everything begin to look too flat. however, you may note that all the dithering in the pic is "old style" chequer with no positional and cluster changes which my stuff is full of these days. | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 29 August 2011
Really really nice, the goal of looking like a codemasters titlescreen has been well achieved! Funny how the alien is truly alien in style in this picture, since that uses a lot more dithering and seems more modern and sophisticated than the comic-y rest of the picture! :-) | User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 29 August 2011
yes you have every right to do so, but if you troll my artwork release with it (this is NOT the game and therefore comments about such are OT as a mod is only too aware), i have every right to reply to you...
do something better yourself or fck off
don't i? | User Comment Submitted by Paul Bearer on 29 August 2011
Hey, I can say "I hate this movie. I think it sucks" even if I have never made a multi-million dollar movie, right? If not, there shouldn't be much discussion about movies in the world.
I don't really like this "Can you do it better? If not, then shut up" argumentation. Richard Bayliss is a far better coder, musician and so on than I could ever be, and he is extremely productive and hard working, which I respect, but I still hate most of his games I tried. | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 28 August 2011
@Groepaz: All of them, including the SEUCKs. You didn't? | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 28 August 2011
this is so awesome in so many ways, simply makes me happy and smile :) | User Comment Submitted by Sixx on 28 August 2011 User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 28 August 2011
Word! And btw I played Baloonacy back in times for quite a long time for my standard. About half an hour ;-))). And one or two other games too. Don't remember the names. | User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 28 August 2011
i am always willing to do the loader for YOUR next game groepaz. any time you're ready | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 28 August 2011
"Aren't Richard's games good??"
which one did you play for a couple of hours ? | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 28 August 2011 User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 28 August 2011
sorry for this Roman, but i will most certainly not stand by and let a "doer" be sniped at by a "talker". particularly when its another of my releases that said "talker" is once again trolling. i couldnt give a flying fck how many "sceners" Richard has pissed off in the past, all that matters to me is that he codes games. and he will always get my respect and support for continuing to do so. | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 28 August 2011
Before this gets out of control I would like to say something. Richard is special, and believe me he was kinda pain in the ass at times, in past. It took me years of communication with him to get him going along with the scene. I'm glad he is now keeping low profile and doing what he loves. Not everybody love him, but I don't think he needs protection from occasional remarks like Gropeaz did. That's Groepaz, nothing is sacred for him. | User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 28 August 2011
indeed, but one thing is definitely true..
he has a damned site more chance of doing so than you do Groepy, being as how he IS actually doing it.
| User Comment Submitted by Rough on 28 August 2011
Aren't Richard's games good?? ^^ | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 28 August 2011
might work if he finds a way to turn good titlescreens into good games =P | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 28 August 2011
Richard heading for Jeff Minter II !? | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 28 August 2011
Nice! You are so quick, damn it!
Keep up the work. | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 28 August 2011
fucking amazing.... how you have really defined the shapes and separated things in this image do impress me a lot! And the shapes colors and craftsmanship is top! In a way I would say it is one of your best images, or one of the best images I have seen on the c64 because it is so defined and clear... it is just the things you put in there and they are the ones you decided to be the game in a way... massive respect from me for direction and the execution of this! | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 28 August 2011
This is really good! Maybe TND logo could be a bit more interesting but nevertheless nize! | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 28 August 2011 User Comment Submitted by Ragnarok on 27 August 2011
the sheep are too cute =D | User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 27 August 2011
Richard continues his highly dubious dalliance with sheep, aliens and electrical devices in his upcoming RGCD release. For which he asked me last week to produce a loader for him in "classic" budget style with a logo similar to "Rack it". so i produced this for him in homage to the style of the late Jim Wilson's classic Mastertronic/Codemasters productions like Human Race and One Man and His Droid. I even threw in some Codies clouds and blue mountains just for authenticity :) |
