Good catch Count Zero. I totally missed that as well. I'm pretty surprised BB didn't fix that and just slapped an intro on it and released it as is LOL!

Re-checked and indeed missed this on the intro scroller:
"no cracking necessary on 01/08/87. after 100 moves the game will ask you something about the instructions. therefore you will need the insts to play the game. send me dm 4.- and i will send you a copy of the insts."

How many steps did you do?
Over 100 to make sure protection asking words from the manual was removed?
Maybe that was the intention of someone marking this as broken - though ofc a proper comment would be better - see also: The Guild of Thieves

I'm not sure who marked this as corrupt but could you explain the problem you had with the release?

I updated the screenshot to show that the game loads just fine from both side A and B
