"found" a fixed one courtesy of GPZ but since the release is locked, I can't upload it. well anyway, my problems regarding this one are sorted for now :P

Can somebody please upload the actual fixed fixed version which can be flashed to an actual EasyFlash cartridge? Tried editing off the last 16 bytes from HaraldHardtoothFixed, dunno what I did wrong; I was able to flash it to a cart but it didn't work. The 'fixed' version itself cannot be flashed.

Thank you very much Martinland ! I have only tested the file in WinVice and the Ultimate II with no problems. Indeed, removing the last 16 bytes does the trick with the Easyflash.

@ilesj: I had the exact same problem with Vice on PSP! It wouldn't mount/recognize the fixed version (Vice on PC did work, didn't try with Ultimate on the real thing though). So I compared the headers and found them to be the same, BUT: The fixed file is 16 bytes longer and there are only filler bytes at the end.

So I sheared off the last 16 bytes of the fixed version with frhed (a hex editor) et voilà, it works now! :)

Every time I try to write the fixed version to EF cartridge I get incorrect file type message in middle of the write process. The non fixed file is written ok.

9. release entries should never be updated with "new" or "fixed" versions of the same release. new versions of a release should get seperate entries which reflect the proper release date and other details. if we spot such silently "updated" releases we will undelete and/or create a seperate release entry for them, so if you choose csdb as your release platform better doublecheck that what you upload is actually what you want to release. in tribute to the "old school" retroactive "unreleasing" will not be tolerated. (this rule does not apply to replacing broken files with working ones, obviously we hope)

There was a little bug in the first release. Pause with space didn't work well. After pressing the spacebar again the game had to go on instead of skipping the level. This is fixed now !
