In order to let the driver code use song length information you need to specify it to PSID64 in one of the following ways:

1. Use the -r option or HVSC_ROOT environment variable to specify the HVSC root folder, typically ending in C64Music. The filename of the song length file is then constructed as $HVSC_ROOT/DOCUMENTS/Songlengths.txt.
2. Use the -s option or HVSC_SONGLENGTHS environment variable to directly specify the filename of the Songlengths.txt file.

You can check with the -v option whether song length information is actually included in the prg file. For SIDs with limited memory available for the driver code it is possible that the song length information is not used even when it is available.
