@Groepaz, yes I agree, but it's not my work if it's been shafted.
If I were to take a Dokk pic and grey-scale it and then plant a giant cock in the middle of the image, it would no longer be a Dokk pic.
Extreme example, but the principle is the same.
If someone had submitted my tune unaltered to a comp, then the credit would make sense, but inclusion here would still be wrong as it was not a valid entry and just some prick being a prick.

I did few tunes in FC II around 1993 this exact way. Edited demo tunes. I thought they were cool. Fortunatelly they are forever lost on worktapes. (didn't have drive back then) | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 20 November 2015
"it's irrelevant if you are being actively involved in a release or your work has been used without you knowing it"
sad but true, apparently. | User Comment Submitted by Roysterini on 20 November 2015
Ffs! Can't edit.
Should still NOT stand. | User Comment Submitted by Roysterini on 20 November 2015
I understand that, but the credit still should stand as it's a 'bollocks' release and not as I created it. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 20 November 2015
I know that it's frustrating being credited to some lame release but it's irrelevant if you are being actively involved in a release or your work has been used without you knowing it, hundreds of thousands of releases are made exactly that way since the 80s.
Crediting the original author in this database helps spotting ripoffs.
It's also true that this stupid release shouldn't be even here in first place =) | User Comment Submitted by Roysterini on 20 November 2015
TOY credit removed as it's incorrect. | User Comment Submitted by Roysterini on 20 November 2015
I don't like the fact that the credit goes to me (as my old handle) even though I didn't submit and it's also bugged.
The credit should be removed. | User Comment Submitted by Roysterini on 20 November 2015
Wtf!?
Although, to be fair, it's not much worse than the original. | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 10 May 2015
the sid is not working!!! | User Comment Submitted by Richard on 9 May 2015
Just tried this track out in the Future Composer V2.0 pressed SHIFT+1 to initialise the track and play it, and I can confirm that it is the "Sub Zero" intro tune by Toy/Subzero. My guess is that the messed up version might have been submitted as a joke :) | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 9 May 2015 User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 9 May 2015
tune is just /MUSICIANS/T/Toy/Subzero_Intro.sid badly inited, change the JMP at $1800 to $2108 instead of $2000 |
