Groepaz said: please keep in mind though, you should create seperate entries for new releases :)

Is there a way to link together various "builds" of one release? Let's say you have Game 1.1 and Game 1.2. When you have the Game 1.1 page on CSDB open, it would be neat with some kind of history/legend/whateveryouwannacallit somewhere on the page. Know what I mean?

Thank you all for the great feedback. :)

After 345 downloads of V1.1 the new 1.2 version (link already updated) has the following changes:
Any drive number can be used to load the game, not just drive 8.
A load error is reported as a load error and not as a crash.
Updated music routine that sounds better with SID 8580. The 6581 is fine and remains unchanged.
Player shoot sound effect updated from zerozillion's SEUCK data tweak.

Super sound. Nice animations. I wonder why there is no article on c64.sk?

Excellent game! The graphics and sound are far beyond what an Atarisoft version of Berzerk would have looked like back in the day. What a great effort... thanks Martin!

@trip6: You said it, this is the best port of Berzerk to date. Next best thing from the Stern Electronics original.

Martin thank you for a magnificient port of one of my favorite all time arcade and atari games. Thanks for the tremendous job you've done on this. This really showcases your programming talents. The commodore finally has a version, that is the best port to date in my opinion.

Almost makes me cry. What an amazing conversion! The game plays a little bit faster than the arcade original, but that's not a bad thing, really. Thumbs up to everyone involved!

Berzerk fans should check out the 2006 remake Berzerk 3D: http://demonews.com/download-3113.html

This. Is. Amazing. It captures the look and feel of the original arcade game very, very well.

What a great product!!! Just what the doctor ordered. I've already played this so much...even though I gave it a 10, I wonder why the loading takes so much longer than the pre release versions? In any case, it's worth the wait!

Great work, Martin!

With this and Fortress of Narzod, it's a real 80s revival.

Nice game. Fun to play. I liked the Atari 800 XL looking primitive graphics :)
