I love the gradient, never seen that one before! It's amazing what a novel effect you can achieve with just leaving some color out in a gradient (in this case it's orange or purple!).
Last I've seen that someone achieved something like this was with this Clone-picture.
Seeing how close the lower three colors (blue/brown, dark grey/red and orange/purple) are in brightness, it does even make alot of sense to get rid of one of them! ;-D

The more I watch Leon's graphics, the more I'd love to get to know with him, but also the more Leon is getting unreachable for me. Yes, I am melancholic now, leave me alone, but for FF sake Leon's GFX are melancholic too. Leon, what you are doing to me. I need a drink...
