ey spider! nice old school 80ies tune, has a funny "Future Composer"-touch. I like it. Something like that is what I wanna hear before I play a game. :-)

Some of your songs remind me a bit of Steve Rowlands (in the most positive way). Unusual and nice, keep it up, Spider!

Sounds would need some polishing. Otherwise, quite interesting tune.

Quoting Spider
... I was just lucky that I kept the melody so simple that I had the possibilty to add the snare - I already wanted to release the tune before ...
Good you didn't imho =)

Thanks!
@TheRyk: I think I know why this one sounds *richer*. I must admit that I'm often too lazy to do that kickdrum/bass thing the right way. Usually a bass player plays in a way that the peak of a bass tone immediatly follows the kick of the kickdrum. Most SID musicians program up to three sounds for the to instruments kickdrum and bass (kickdrum single, kickdrum+bass, bass single). If you do it right you get some drive that is missing when you use 2 SID voices for bass + kickdrum. And of course you have still 2 voices left when you do it the proper way. That's what I did here too. Plus: I was just lucky that I kept the melody so simple that I had the possibilty to add the snare - I already wanted to release the tune before I added it :-)

On the one hand, melody IS simple, on the other hand, this one sounds 'richer' (German "satter") than many of your other tunes due to more/better (or maybe even more complex?) use of all 3 channels. Your best entry so far :)
