No clue. Centipede and OmniBBS both recognize it. Centipede is written in BASIC so it's probably pretty easy to figure it out.

Nice ! But how does the BBS know, that there is a SR Term calling ? Which codes are send ? Or how does it work ?

Found out one interesting thing about the format while reverse-engineering the encoder and decoder .. the included decoder supports 5 "sub-formats", 4 of which are just multicolor and hires bitmap with or without clearing the image data before decode.

However, the 5th one allows writing arbitrary memory (address specified in the file data). I don't know if this is implemented in terminal (Superes Terminal) but it's kind of .. interesting. :D

Needed this for SuperRES graphics for the BBS, but couldn't find a converter that worked. Took the one that is marked 'bad' on here, delinked it, decompiled the code, recompiled and relinked. Works fine.
