Runs nicely from IDE64. Devicenumber independence would be nice, though.

did a quick retest with VICE 2.3 (win32 x86 mingw) - and found it all working pretty well - with and without an "Action Replay" cartridge - and yesyes - the version number of the title screen is bad - maybe i'll care for that in the near future

Tried in Vice 2.3, only worked with a Retro Replay attached.

Hmmm... I tried running it into VICE 2.3 and it exhibits some strange behavior. It loads up to track 26, then the border becomes brown and the menu appears. Let it sit there for a couple of seconds and the background becomes black all of a sudden and sits there forever. It seems "locked up" into the kernel at $ED5A, waiting for $DD00 to change as if it was waiting from signals from the drive. If I use some "warp treatment" to make loading faster, it does not even display the menu but gets immediately to the above mentioned state.
It seems to work correctly if I have an Action Replay VI cartridge image "plugged in". If so, it loads more stuff once the border goes brown, and when I let the menu sit for a while it loads and plays some demo gameplay. Oh well...

Why does the title screen say "Beach Head II" when Beach Head II is a completely different game?

New "c64-Base inc" file from the "Standard Project" needed for a successful compilation
