Crazy idea that somehow works quite well. | User Comment Submitted by Peacemaker on 31 October 2016
@Copyfault: Yes, indeed. I tried it with rasterline switching afli / fli, but it looked bad with the diterhing. So i choose these method which is better for this kind of diterhing. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 31 October 2016
Ihr sauft doch alle Lack! | User Comment Submitted by Copyfault on 31 October 2016
Seems to be like that MR-FLI-mode (see Robo MultiRes FLI) by Algorithm but without the Hires/MC-mode-change on every rasterline (only frame-based).
Another reason to get my ILM-editor done... could still bite my ass off that we did not release an example pic along with that beta-version of the Independent Line Manipulator back in the days!!! | User Comment Submitted by Mixer on 31 October 2016 User Comment Submitted by Jok on 31 October 2016
thanks pals!
Yep - It looked like 3d render converted with some tool into unknown (for me) mode. Thanks for clearing this out.
It would be really cool to have possibility to do stuff like this (or "to paint" to be precise).
On Mac.
Only program that I have (and works) is Multipaint now.
And It understands ...multi ;) And hires. Which is quite ok, but I would be really happy to have hires mode with more colours available.
In close to c64 interface (like P1 or Multipaint)

Extraordinary example of VIC possibilities. | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 31 October 2016
The eminently noticeable uncanny valley revealed to me right away that the original has to be a 3D model.
By the look of it, an interesting graphics mode. I wonder about its technical specifics. | User Comment Submitted by Carrion on 31 October 2016
@jok
and the mode, as Peacemaker said is one FLI picture + AFLI picture interlacing.
The tool? Timanthes I guess with one layer set to 50% opacity. | User Comment Submitted by ptoing on 31 October 2016
Jok: Looks to me like the picture is a convert of a render of a 3D scuplt. Possibly found on Artstation or a similar site. That said, as a proof of concept for the mode it works well. | User Comment Submitted by Peacemaker on 31 October 2016
Ofcourse we did not release the gfx in the compo. It would have been unfair to the other real graphic guys. This Prod was mainly made to show all of you the new hires- / multicolor interlaced fli "mode" i did about 1-2 years ago. Thats it =) | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 31 October 2016
Mr.SID: look up other gfx releases by Banshee and you should be able to work out the reason all by yourself =D | User Comment Submitted by Jok on 31 October 2016
something more about this picture?
how it was done?
tools, refs, mode... | User Comment Submitted by Mr. SID on 31 October 2016
Why wasn't this entered in the compo? | User Comment Submitted by fenz on 31 October 2016 User Comment Submitted by Rock on 30 October 2016 User Comment Submitted by Thierry on 30 October 2016
