Yes this is an absolutely masterful demo in every respect! | User Comment Submitted by Shine on 21 November 2024
Still one of my very few favorites! <3 | User Comment Submitted by Wile Coyote on 15 May 2024
2015? really? OMG!
This demo really is one of the greatest. | User Comment Submitted by Wile Coyote on 29 March 2022
Pretty much everything is excellent!
I really like the tune that plays just after the logo featuring the Owl has scrolled passed (11/10 logo btw)

I just love it! Specially the OWL! | User Comment Submitted by Raistlin on 25 October 2020
Really cool demo - some amazing stuff here. I especially love the Coma Dance part. The whole demo is just fantastic. The greetings part runs quite long but, otherwise, I can’t fault anything. Very very cool. | User Comment Submitted by Zibri on 6 August 2020
This is one of the best C64 demos I have ever seen.
Very good music, very smooth effects. | User Comment Submitted by Magnar on 14 February 2020 User Comment Submitted by The Human Code Machine on 3 January 2020
The song is nearly impossible to rip. It streams speech and pattern data from disk. I'll have a look, if it's possible to squeeze the tune without speech into a single .sid file. | User Comment Submitted by Cybortech on 3 January 2020
which/where is the last part .sid music track? | User Comment Submitted by Firehawk on 14 December 2017
The music in this one is superb, main tune on disk 1 may be one of the best demo-tunes ever made (imo).
Great, great demo. A 10/10 if there ever was one. | User Comment Submitted by Magnar on 10 November 2017
As a trivia, I can say that I composed that nr 3 song while I was in Barcelona sitting at a swimming pool area and having a good time in the sun. It was very hard to see the screen, tho. But I imagine the song to be something like one of the first cassette games I bought for my own money on the C64, called Gauntlet. Because I saw the chains and graphic font by Deekay and got kinda inspired of that. However, when I later searched a longplay on Youtube and listened back to the original Gauntlet music it doesn't resembles this tune at all. So I had apparently I had a very different memory of that game from my childhood in my mind :) | User Comment Submitted by Magnar on 10 November 2017
Ian Coog, thanks for clarifying that about the nr 3 SID rip. I actually tried to play it the other day from Modizer (Iphone app) and it didn't play, while all others did. So I kinda wondered why that didn't work. Again, thnx. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 2 November 2017
Comaland Opening is the 2nd tune
Comaland (tune 3) uses some particular digi routine that requires a fully working emulation to be executed, you're probably using an old sid player. | User Comment Submitted by drake on 2 November 2017
there is no Tune 2?
downloaded tune 3 but it has no sound?
but gosh, even the not-100-percent version was already that great. one of my very favorites. | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 16 August 2015
cool final version... The big scrolling logo in this one is just beyond imagination in quality on graphics! And that sticker you had with the same and silver... was so cool... Mirage - you are so insane great at them pixels, so tight so in yar face and so super every time you present something. And the rest of the team... thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by v3to on 24 June 2015
Magnar: It was the other way around ;) | User Comment Submitted by Magnar on 24 June 2015
Actually interested to hear from THCM if he used my voice sample or the one he found from the actual show on that one. In any case, it was a funny thing to surprise Veto ;) | User Comment Submitted by Tom-Cat on 24 June 2015
"Maja wo bist du" ? :D Vili von die Biene Maja ? | User Comment Submitted by Bitbreaker on 24 June 2015
mankeli: it was 4
c6510, acme, dasm, dreamass (which segfaulted on some occasions :-\ ) each of course with differences in macros and c6510 even with constants/labels. But it formed a great and meanwhile really tiny framework ($21d bytes for loader, depacker, base-irq, save loading hooks) that satisfies the needs of all, even build.bat is generated for those who do not dare to use makefiles or use windows. | User Comment Submitted by mankeli on 24 June 2015
Professional demomaking here. I remember that Bob told me at X that there was something like 6 different assemblers used while making this prod!
I especially like:
-The big scroller with the owl
-First flip disk part
-The flying bee parts with zooming gfx
-First part of disk 3 (with wobbling upscroller and epic music)
-Comadance is kind of cool too because of the rotation
Not my absolute favourite because of the overall thematic inconsistency (probably impossible when 17 people are doing something on their spare time :)) but really cool parts, polishing and damn I like the music of this last part. :) | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 22 June 2015
Flawless. 'nuff said. 10/10 | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 22 June 2015 User Comment Submitted by Burglar on 22 June 2015
