The wind is top notch effect maybe the best wind i've heard on the c64 , the progression is very good , i think extended version could be cool coz the end part sound a little break the coherent of the song . i love your style very much and i think you are top quality composer

Thank you, guys! I was not sure about putting this into the compos at Forever. I had this tune going on for a while. But I didn't want to come "empty-handed", so the 3-minute-rule was a perfect excuse for me. :)

You all have a point here, melody and progression really come short in this tune. Wotnau suggested an extended version, I like that idea.

GH: Thank you for being so honest, as I have a high opinion of you. I agree with you, but I defend the "flute-part", I think it lets the tune stand out, in a positive way. ;)

Overall, I was far from thinking of winning the compo, especially after I listened to the other entries by uctumi, Vegard and Linus/Gerard. But I guess that's just the way it is sometimes - and of course a huge amount of plain luck... :)

very competent soundwork, but the composition's rather disappointing (particularly that melody/chord relation Gerard mentioned). i know you can do better :)

I love the work behind this song! Everything fits perfectly, the title says it all. Its simple but very effective. Great work!

This grows and grows. The first time I heard it I would have given it a 7 or 8, now it is a clear 10 for me. It really does get better ever time you hear it!

Starting with a wind and calling it Fist Storm in title is funny :D

Nice tune here and there but in contrary to what others say here about the Flute part... playing the chords just transposing them like that gets
on my nerves a little...I think you have done better with Oldschool Heaven where the musical and technical parts brought some cool things...

Also The melody doesn't really do anything in this one.. but since i'm the only one it must be me ;)

Love this one, nice instruments - good melodies, good groove to it to, bounces along nicely and the little breaks, build-ups and so on all add to it. Very slick.

Nice one! :-)
Imho this really suffers from the typical 3 minutes/compo limit. All the parts are great and would deserve longer duration/exploration.
Especially at the end it feels like it's time for some variation part on the "first" (after intro) one and so on... :-)

One word: POWER!

More words: Spent the last hour with this. Start: one of the best blowing winds I've heard on the SID. 00:04+ - reminded me of the times when Orcan owned the "intelligent dance tune" genre. 00:34-00:51 a bit Koto-ish. I think the tune would be better off without it, as the rest has a very coherent melody and structure. But you forgive&forget that at the take-off - at 00:59. At that moment a Joe Satriani album title comes to mind: Unstoppable Momentum. That's not a mere storm, that's a hurricane that just blows you away. The ending then feels a bit forced to accommodate to the 3-minute compo limit; I'd love to hear an extended version of the tune someday. And one more thing: I absolutely, totally, utterly, completely, and unconditionally love the mixing. C0zmo has some serious sp4zeb4llz to put so many cute details into the background. Enjoyment on repeated listening guaranteed (last 60 minutes so far, I told you)! Keep on rocking, C0zmo. Pretty, pretty, pretty please.

Hey heeey. Very cool use of whistling combined with arpegio lead ;-) Loved it. I think speccy audience must have loved this one too, it's very straightforwardly (if that word exists ;-) melodic and uses a lot of nice clean arpegios. Well deserved first place.
