Regarding the recent wiring/AI debates I have decided to add working stages animations to all my pics, which I have been making just for the fun of it.

oh no. this must be sorcery, i won't (indeed can't) analyze this because i don't wanna learn it ain't - the feeling is so "amigaaaaah" and "next level shit" :) Finnish style has always appealed to me the most, my #1, no doubt.

Thanks for the nice comments! This pic uses Copyfault’s QCH (Quarter Char Hires) mode with 8x2 pixel character instead of 8x8. There are 16 hires sprites in both top and bottom borders, some of those are stretched 2 x horizontally.

F'n fantastic, my favourite from the compo. Those eyes are just amazing! And even if they steal the main focus (at least for me), the rest of the pic is absolutely gorgeous too. Just the right level of detail where viewer's attention is needed, and less detail where not (but still very well laid pixels there too, smooth as butter). And the choice of colours!

Non-graphician me struggles to determine Copyfault's graphics mode trickery, could you recap it for me again? Was it hires with raster colouring and sprite overlay?
