Vigorous 30 sec loop.

Most of the tunes you did so far sound like worktunes. However, you can keep the rhythm. Harmonics are more or less okay. Melodic lines are confused and unfocused which is typical for beginner, but if you keep making more, with this set skills you have potential to get better. Music is not always about the best sounds, or intricate melodies, it is about heart and soul you give into it. Keep doing what you love, and eventually you will impress us.

Most of us were lucky to not have internet/transfering tools around when we were doing our first creative steps on c64. I'm sure most of us were proud of what we have achieved. E.g I ripped out intros and wrote my own texts, I ripped routines and used them for my own creations. I composed stuff in Future Composer II by beastie boys, basically using the same sounds like Jeroen Tel back in time, I even reused some of his loops from demotunes, I had a lot of that on my tapes (back when I didn't have disc drive). Most of that is fortunately lost forever. That saved me from embarassement and possible confrontation with reality of harsh and ever so demanding scene, but it also kept me from losing enthusism and creative drive. I always composed music mostly for myself, I never considered myself great, I just wanted to make bangers. If people liked my stuff I was happy, but I never lost that little voice in my head telling me that I'm and average musician with total ignorance for coherence, focus, unable to make propper bridges and hiding that with kalaschnikow drum solos. Eventually I was doing it so much, that some of my bad habbits became my style. Why would I do funk when I usually don't enjoy it so much than stupid primitive oonst - oonst.

This or that I just wanted to tell you that:

Practice makes perfect

Enjoy yourself.
