Ice Breaker: You should also try another drive, and also try to clean the physical media if you find dirt and stuff on it.

Just a thought on the trashed Files:
The BBS Promo "Power Surge/DEV" works (the 70 Blocks file). Whenever old C*BASE Versions try to load a PRG File, which is missing on Disk, it will create an empty 1 Blocks File on Disk. I loaded all relevant Files from that D64 in VICE without Problems. So this Disk *might* be OK.
Disk #2 would be interesting. Maybe some Files can still be used, or reconstructed.

Disk 2 was trashed when I imported it. I can try doing a nibtools on it. If you guys can keep a running list of anything you found in my diskboxes that might be trashed in the forum, I can spend some time nibtooling them but I'd rather get them all at once.

Fast1541.prg, Power surge/dev.prg and P2.prg is trashed as far as I can tell. Some SEQ-files might be corrupted too.

Larry: Two files on the disk have bad data, so yes: disk was trashed.

This atleast works until it comes to send the Modeminit String. Maybe with proper configuration it will boot into Waitscreen. Is this really corrupted ?
However, nice find.
