Worked on my real hardware and I think i have found out what the problem was. I tried it in GTK3VICE and WinVICE and by default, i always have both activated there, the "True Drive Emulation" and the "Virtual Device Traps". The vast majority of software has no problem with this, but here in this game, it seems to cause the problems in highscore-saving. Maybe you can recreate it on your PC, when also activating both things? So, for this game, i must deactivate either TDE or VDT, will write it in the Disk-Directory, that i can not forget it in the future. :)

Kal_123: I can't replicate this, I reached a new highscore 3 times, each time after saving I've reset the game, reloaded, the "HIGHSCORE" is still a SEQ file on the D64.
There is not even a SCR file type on a 1541, are you sure it's what you see?

Something with the highscore-saver seems to be not okay. I tried around in different emulators and when the score once is saved to the disk, the seq file becomes a scr file and the score is gone, everytime i reload the game.
