@vincenzo: If Hermit's routine never exceeds that 1 rasterline, it should be able to play 8KHz samples as well :) I bet 64x brickwall is only imposed by Hermit.

Cool experimental stuff but you have to try harder to kick Warp8 off of his territory :D
There's still a lot of potential in multi-multi-multi-speed sound generation with the SID. I'm looking forward to it.
Also, Hermit's 1-raster tracker can go up to 64x speed, I'm wondering what's possible and what's the limit of it.

Just some procedurally generated noises. Hopefully an isolated experiment with no followups.
