G64 removed - binary file content same as D64.

Sounds like the g64 should be removed from the entry then - only use them when they are absolutely needed.

cheers for the link to the cable - will have a look at adding it to VICE later

I've standardized on g64,
no other reason for this one, it could be d64, but I don't like it.

It will NOT run without a specialized cable!

You can load the program and run it, but current versions of VICE don't emulate the parallel cable properly, they only emulate standard cable, thus it won't work.

WinVice v2.4 SPS will at least allow you to load and run the program to the menu screens, but as the parallel cable and drive don't actually exist, and you don't have a 1541 to put a real disk into it, I'm not sure what you're trying to do ??
I don't see a practical use to this with emulation.
Also: this won't work with a 1571 obviously, and I'm fairly certain it wont work with a 1541-II. It might be ok with a 1541-C. standard 1541 is best.

Note on parallel cables:
SpeedDos par-cable will NOT work!
Dolphin dos cable will NOT work!
Burst nibbler cable will NOT work!
Trackmimic cable will NOT work!
Standard parallel cable off ebay will NOT work!

It requires a specific cable designed for the software. it's proprietary.
I believe the key is pin 9.

You can find the exact pin-outs here:

Actually, it is a crack, all copy protection has been removed,
Heck, you can use a file copier on this thing!

This is not a crack. Originals don't belong in here.
